Mes citations favorites

As John Green himself said, "Maybe our favourite quotations say more about us than about the stories and people we're quoting." I love a good quote. I love to feel inspired, empowered, mind blown; I just love to feel. It reminds me that I am not a robot, but a living, breathing human being. So, whenever I hear a new quote, I have to jot it down. I wouldn't consider it a collection, but I do like to be able to read over it and add to it.

Here are some of my favourites:

"Throw your heart out in front of you, and run ahead to catch it."
- Unknown

"There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it."
 - Edith Wharton

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."
- 1 Corinthians 13:4

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."
- Meg Cabot

"As you walk and eat and travel, be where you are. Otherwise you will miss most of your life."
- Siddhartha Gautama

"In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you." - Buddha
