Drumroll please.....

If you have been following this blog or have learned anything about me, you'll know that I have dreamt of traveling the world and taking any/every chance I can to experience all it has to offer.

I've had my heart set on spending a semester abroad for as long as I've known that this kind of program existed. So, when I began university in the fall of 2011, and learned of this fantastic major called International Business that REQUIRED a semester abroad, I jumped on it. And now, 2 years later, I can say that I'm one step closer to fulfilling my dream.

At the beginning of 2013, I began the year-long preparation. This entails applying to my major's study abroad program, eagerly awaiting my placement, settling all the financial business and logistics, researching which kind of lodging will work best for me, applying for a Visa, thinking of all the cute outfits I can wear, and daydreaming of finally exploring Europe. Needless to say, I've been anxious and excited to finally get out there.

But the point of this post is to share with you all where it is exactly that I will be next spring semester...

As Audrey Hepburn said herself, "Paris is always a good idea."

However, that's not where I'll be studying. Cheeky me, throwing Paris out there into the mix.

I will be spending an entire semester in..... Toulouse.

For those of you not keen on French geography, Toulouse is located in the south of France. This means a warmer climate and warmer people. AND I'm in perfect position to spend weekends in Spain and Italy. Heck, the whole of Europe. The continent will be my playground. It will be a dream come true, and I am so very excited.

So this is it, this is where my journey officially begins. I now have a city and school. Now, the stressful financial aspect and housing situation is the next feat to tackle. But I would like to keep you guys updated, and along for the ride.

I'm going to actually start sharing this blog on my Facebook page, which I haven't done yet. My family and friends deserve to be in on this action as well! THIS is what I originally started this blog for. To share my journey of finding the adventure.

Allons-y.
