I have always loved Los Angeles for all the many things to do in the city, but it wasn't until this weekend that I finally got to experience a live concert there. It was the sold out show of my musical obsession at the moment, Ed Sheeran. His opening acts were Irishman Foy Vance and Rizzle Kicks. I quite like them, I could get down with the trumpets.
The venue was the Hollywood Palladium. It was general admission, standing-room only. I'm not too fond of massive crowds of hot, sweaty people; however, I absolutely love the atmosphere of that kind of show. My sister and I ended up finding a spot in the back against the wall, unobstructed view, although it was far from the stage. For me though, it has always been about just being there, to enjoy the show. And Mr. Edward Sheeran puts on an amazing show. The couple of nights prior I was so excited for this show, even though it would be my 3rd time seeing him; but I was still so anxious. That's how much I love him and his music.
I love LA as well. It was a chilly weekend, very nippy for southern Californian standards. But no cold weather could ever keep me from having fun.
This weekend was so good. It was a fun "sisters' weekend" and it was so wonderful to spend time with my mom, sister, and Aunt.
À bientôt, LA! Xx
